All gear that could possibly be an attractant was locked in a bear box at each backcountry site once we made camp.

Working on my Cooking merit badge required me to prep meals on trail.

I ate all the best snacks way too early on trail. Those were missed a lot during the many miles we had left.

First thing I did was enjoy the week old Fritos I found in the car! Nothing has tasted so delicious after surviving on freeze dried trail food for 5 days.

The best tasting Coke all summer long.

No bottom to my stomach.
