I started my project by researching the prehistoric oceans at the library. We had a very small display case so I had to carefully plan out which fossils from my collection to use this year.





Reading Comprehension work:


I've finished many books this year including: My Brother Sam is Dead, Fever 1793, Number the Stars, The Hunger Games, Sign of the Beaver, Tuck Everlasting, Hatchet, City Spies, and currently finishing up Percy Jackson and the Lighting Theif (July 2023)! I have breakfast book club with Grandma Sale.

A new member added to our Ludema clan! Welcome Oshkosh Russell a racing greyhound who we adopted in March 2024!

I completed my Dog Care merit badge for Scouting while learning about this unique and fascinating sighthound! I'm helping him adjust to family pet life after his first 2 1/2 years as a racing dog. He was born in Nebraska and went to Wheeling Island Casino and Racetrack for training (breaking) but he didn't have what they wanted and he was immediately retired without entering into an official race. We are super lucky to have adopted him
